AZORES

In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, between the American continent and the European continent, there are 9 islands, all of them of volcanic origin, all of them inhabited and with unique characteristics.

The islands of the archipelago were divided into three geographic groups: the Eastern Group, comprising Santa Maria and São Miguel, the Central Group comprising the islands of Terceira, Graciosa, São Jorge, Pico and Faial, and the Western Group comprising the islands of Corvo and Flores.

The Azores are moving towards sustainability and assumes, at a regional and institutional level, the capacities, knowledge, competences and commitment to sustainable development. Recently, it was awarded by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) the certification of sustainable tourist destination.

A destination in the middle of the Atlantic, internationally recognized as preserved volcanic islands, of exuberant, exclusive nature, of mystical beauty, where the visitor is welcomed as a special guest who, in safety, has at his disposal a variety of land and sea activities that will leave you dazzled!
